Talking to a GM tech and he was saying how they would dump a quart in a tank of gas and it would clean the fuel system and valves better than any fuel injector cleaning .
Anyone ever tried this?

Done it before, it works.
On vehicles with filters, I'd maybe change it afterwards. Most newer vehicles just have socks on the pump now anyway.
Yup, it's all I've ever used. Seems to work well. I've never changed the filter after.
Does it foul up the plugs? I wanna give this a shot!
Ok. I will it a shot.

Well I burned up the tank 400 miles and no issues. Seems a little more responsive but that could just be the mind at work. At least I didn't throw any codes or need a tow. Might try it on some of my other vehicles.

1 quart in the GP tank. 16-17 gallons.
