I was changing the spark plugs on my 04 Grand Prix and sorry I do not know much about whats under the hood so I am not sure what these parts are, but it looks bad. I had to remove a metal plate that partially blocks of the front spark plugs, and noticed that the arm it is attached to was attached to the engine but appears to have broken off. See the pictures for details.

Basically, am I ****ed here? Look at this, I can tell there cant be an easy fix and it would appear to be a very large and heavy duty support of my engine to the frame of the car. What am I risking by driving like this, and is there any solution?

that would be the upper torque strut mount. its a pretty common thing to snap on the n/a engines.

you can replace it with one off a l67 supercharged engine, its cast iron and much stronger. junk yard would be a good place to start looking for one.

98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW
