hood handle mount broke

Hi all,

A 2007 GP,
It was loose a few days before then one day went to pop the hood and it broke. The cable is fine.

I'm thinking has anyone had this happen, and to fix it, remove it and pop rivet metal brackets so it attaches to the main plastic part.

I'm sure it just bolts in there.
