Sorry I'm very new to this site, but I was on my way home the today, and car was driving just fine up until I got to a red light on the turning lane off the highway. As the light turned green I put my foot on the gas, and the car went forward a tad bit, did this little "shake" (the shake that cars do when they run out of gas?), and cut off completely (still had radio and power, RPM meter didn't recognize I was even touching the gas pedal, engine/motor making no sounds). At the time, being that I was on a hill the car started rolling backwards and I thought to myself, "did I put the car in reverse?" Hahaha. Busy highway and all, I put my hazard lights on, put the car in park and attempted to crank it back up. It crank, but didn't start and made this singling clicking noise afterwards. I did this about three times and just came to the conclusion that it wasn't gonna happen. (Also, my check engine light has been on since I got the car, but I had it looked at a while ago and the mech told me he couldn't find anything) Eventually I was able to get the car towed to my house, but I'm assuming that since the hazard lights were on for almost 2 hours, the car won't even crank at this point (interior lights, radio, and AC still turn on when I open the door and put the key in the ignition though). And I'm not sure if this is relevant, but I was cycling through the information display panel, and my left rear tire sensor isn't reading any tired pressure and the Tire Service Monitor System light came on when the car in the road + a few weeks ago my headlamps wouldn't turn on at all, I took it to auto zone and the technician couldn't get both high beams and low beams to function despite checking both spark plugs, so I only have functioning high beams. (I don't know much about cars, but i doubt this is related haha).
I won't be able to get my car looked at until next week, but I was wondering if I could get some insight to what it could possibly be so I won't be too surprised Any help would be greatly appreciated!
