I think nox was talking about the multi function switch that is in the steering column. Like this:

I've had both the "headlight switch" in the steering column go bad as well as the HDM relay/module go bad twice. Not sure how to troubleshoot the fact that you have no power to the relay... sorry.

Check power at the headlight and multi-function switch.

I would check the multi switch first. Bcm had to be programmed by the dealer but I think you can use a used one. Otherwise Rick auto has new bcm, I think they are $250ish last I looked.

you guys got any other issues like the fan motor blowing on 5 only, or the parking lights not working? if so it could be the ignition harness. they seem to affect a load of different things.

Thank you, I was talking about the multi switch. A short in their can cause the Relay to receive no signal.

I've also changed the multi switch. The only other thing that doesn't work is my cruise won't stay on. I have also had it lose all power in the cab and come back on about 3 times now while driving.

Sorry, I haven't been the only person driving. Just got this info about the inside power. Feel like this going to get expensive.

Cruise not working on my 2000 was because one of the high mount brake lights was out, weird safety thing I believe. Figured it out with my led install.
