Hi guys, I recently just passed the 150k mark with my grand prix gxp. I was just curious if there were any issues I should be on the look for with the higher mileage. The tranny shifts fine, I bought the car at 142k about 7 months ago and haven't had any issues with the car, other than changing brakes no work has been done. Any things you guys could suggest would be greatly appreciated!

Coolant change if it's never been done.

Spark plugs if you have no history on them.

Clean the MAF sensor because it's a good idea to do that every now and then.

Olny major set backs can be the transmission or the DoD/AFM system having problems someday. I've seen many Dod/AFM engines run for 200k miles with no issues but some with 50k and they get the common failed lifter. It's the luck of the draw there.

You may want to inspect the transmission fluid for color and smell. If it is dark or smells burnt read up on related threads on this forum before replacing the fluid.

This thread might help you identify some other maintenance items you can look into: http://www.grandprixforums.net/threa...00-Powered-Car!!

    Cheers,
