ok, first you take out the driver side headlight assembly, reach down pull out the plug, you will see 2 bolts, unbolt them and pull the assembly out straight and carefully, you don't want to bend the brackets (if brackets bend you will have one fun time getting them out). With the passenger side unfortunately you will have to repeat these steps but from the bottom of the car. When you tighten down the brackets for re-assembly do yourself a favor and don't over tighten the bolts or you will bend the brackets.
well the thing is, im getting new fogs lol
yeah, i figured that but really you dont want to bend the brackets because the design is very shi*y its 2 holes and the 2 bracket studs have to go into these 2 holes exactly right, a little over tightening and you bend it. Thus leaving you a really hard time trying to get the brackets out later (if you have to change a bulb or whatever). When you take them out you will see what i mean. Ive bent the brackets before and its not fun...
alright, thanks for the help
I'll add to the post for you guys incase anyone else doesn't know how to do this.
Here's a great youtube video that will show you exactly how to remove your Pontiac Grand Prix fog lights, and the tools needed for the job.
How To Install Replace Fog Light Grand Prix 97-03
Yay, zombies.
So I got underneath my 2000 GP and tried unscrewing the 2-10mm bolts for the fog light brackets. I turn 4ever and nothing happens. I feel the heads of the bolts moving too as I try to take the nut off. Any suggestions? Thanks.

yay zombie threaddd.
SPEEDY. your going to have to try and get a vise grips on the back side of the bolt. not easy or fun..
i would suggest taking of the front cover and grinding the nuts off the brackets then welding new studs on.. its fun
RayRay, thanks for the response and the valuable info. I had figured out how to twist of the bulbs and replace them but will remember what to do next time if I have trouble, thanks.
