Think it's time to replace the intermediate shaft, is the any better than Dorman or the Dealer.

Not really, they all end up doing the same thing.

I have just taken them apart and added new grease and it works great.

Dealer replaced the original part on 4/22/10 and again 4/11/12 with part #19179923. They never used grease, but the part should last longer than 2 years. I figured since It had to removed to be greased, I might as well replace it. I was going to go with Dorman through Autozone, since they have a lifetime warranty. With a lifetime warranty I'll replace every two years, instead of greasing it. Maybe I'll purchase from Autozone, inspect the factory part and if grease can be use return the replacement to Autozone.

My sisters bonnieville had the recall/tsb or whatever done to it before we owned it and it still made noise and was like that for 2 more years. I removed it and re-greased the whole thing and hasn't been a problem in almost 2 years now.

I like free repairs over buying a $50-80 part.
