Changed my LIM gaskets and various other things about 3 months ago. All went well, continuously checked for leaks over the following weeks/months didn't find anything. But now I'm seeing coolant bubbling up and leaking around that coolant bypass (not sure that's what its called) on the LIM, right underneath the throttle body with the exhaust right in the way. Its a horizontal plate with two bolts. Out of all places this is where I find a leak? Only thing I can think of is I didn't snug the bolts up enough. Does anyone know the torque spec for it? Also is it easy to remove the crossover pipe, can't get to the 2nd bolt with it in the way.

Yepp, you shouldn't have much of an issue if that's where it's leaking. crossover is just 4 bolts total and comes off. can you get to the bolts on the horizontal plate with an open ended wrench? could drain some coolant from the radiator to remove coolant from the LIM, back off those bolts on the coolant cover, add some RTV, then seal it back up and let it dry.

Or as you mentioned, remove crossover pipe, remove coolant plate, add some RTV around the sides and then bolt back into place. Shouldn't need much RTV at all to clear up the issue.

I'd buy the gasket for it I think I have a extra new one in my spare gasket box lol.

I tightened the bolts down more, we'll see if that does it. I did replace the gasket when I did the LIM. The coolant was coming out around all sides so I probably didn't tighten em enough to begin with, although they are pretty tiny so I can't imagine they'd have that high of a torque spec. If it still leaks I guess RTV it is.

    Did you torque them?

No I couldn't find a torque spec, so I just tightened them more. It's probably somewhere in the service manual but I didn't feel like searching forever to find it
