This may be a dumb question but I am curious on the answer.

Would an anti-lag be any bit useful for an SC car? I guess it would be less of an anti-lag and more of a launch control. Like hold the switch down to rev up to the stall and release to launch at a higher RPM.

Would this be any bit useful? How would one go about this?

    ohh my lord.....

in short no you cant antilag a sc setup thats belt driven.

closest thing to what your talking about is a higher stall tq convertor so that when launching the car the engine is spinning higher rpm.

I know that SC cars build boost linearly with RPM. So by that logic, could you make a trans break or something so you could rev to ~3000 and launch with a larger amount of boost than at idle. Or is a trans break not possible with out 4T65e?

the gm ecotech race team did have trans brakes for the 4t6fail.

its just alot easier to use a higher stall if thats what your after.

a proportioning valve for the brakes and a higher stall would be much easier.

trans brake and antilag like how turbo cars are setup is different.

for these cars and a sc setup by reving it up at launch your more likely to blow the tires off into a cloud of smoke defeating the purpose. sc cars dont need to be launched hard unless you can make it stick.

Ahh too bad, maybe I will look into a high stall then. I am getting a DHP tuner soon and was curious if this was possible with simple relays and tuning lol

stock stall s1x cam on e85 1st gear is worthless from a dig and stock 2.93 gearing. even with mickey thompson drag radials on the front i can still smoke them pretty good. alot less than street tires obviously. id like to see how the setup was on a prepped track.

id assume the tep valvebody setup and transgo shift kit has a lot to do with how the car drives. it was actually a big factor in why i bought the car in the first place.

street tires from a dig are fun destroys tires at will.

a bit more line pressure and changing the trans tables would make a world of difference. if you have or get dhp you can find someone with the trans tables changed you can swap the tables into your car.

trans settings are garbage from stock and a little trans tuning makes a big difference.

Would you say a shift kit would help with launch/ laying down a good time in the quarter? I have a brand new Intense kit but havnt installed yet because I don't know if it will even help me lol

yes look around in here on how to setup the springs i dont know what the kit says but i remember they can be setup differently.

trans go kit and tep valve body upgrades is awesome!

shift kit and a set of good drag radials is pretty much mandatory imo i see zero point in running at the track on all seasons.

launch control does. being able to rev it up to a certain RPM with the pedal on the floor and then letting it rip is great for consistent launches.
