I just bought one from Advance Auto. Doubt they'll replace a two year old part.

From advanced auto? That's what's crazy to my they cost so much and it just looks like a heater core inside.

It is a heater core. You're paying for the research and development, along with the machining of the aluminum plates.

I had a WBS store IC core leak too. It was just a pinhole leak causing the coolant to disappear. Eventually I started getting white smoke out the tailpipe.

It's a Spectra brand heater core from a 1990's Ford Probe. Way cheaper at Rockauto, Autozone, etc.

Machining and research makes sense when talking about the entire IC setup. But if you are just talking about the core, it's $150 from the vendor or ~$50 from RockAuto for the exact same part.
