Should i get new valve spring retainers and locks or just call it good if they look good. I was planning on just replacing valve seals is that good?

just the seals. unless you upgrade the springs, then you need new retainers for the springs. the locks,/keepers re use.
So if i got some 90# springs from wbody store im pretty sure it says you can reuse the stock retainers so is it a you really should swap them if you get any kind if stiffer spring or only if the new spring requires new retainers?

You need to get ls style retainer. Now the locks can be reused but it's better to grab some because there's a good chance that you'll lose one.

pretty sure if you get ls springs you need the retainer for that spring. they are a larger spring in everyway.
i got my rocker and springs and all as one unit, was told to use the new retainers that came with the rocker set.
Hmm okay well thanks for the help!

Also the sd headers bolt onto the stock 2.25 catback right?

yes.
Quick question do rockers or a cam help with kr?

both help. cam is the better choice tho, but is more work.
Ya cam is a lot more work but maybe you guys can give some adivce my goal is 300chp i figured with a top swap and headers id be around 260 and if i got some 1.9s and could run a 3.6 id be at right around 290 which would be good enough for me. Suggestions?

im top swapped. fsic, 3.0 pulley, 42 injectors, lightly ported heads, 1.95 rockers, headers. its maybe 300 @ the crank. no idea tho. it does feel a ton better.
a cam gets you to and past 300 whp, intercoolers or e85 help get you there too.
A cam makes more power, about 40hp
So if i did a cam with my headers on my top swap its likely id also be able to pulley down to a 3.6 or so? Also i hear how driveability can be bad with a cam but i dont understand qhat that exactly means.

3.4 for sure. maybe a 3.3 with a larger cam.
if they mean traction issues, check, i got them already lol
Cam doesn't change drive ability. My xp cam drives like it did when it was stock, except when the pedal is mashed
I think im just gonna stick with rockers i researched doing a cam and it was pretty hardcore for my mechanical level haha

like I said earlier, the hardest part of doing a cam is getting the harmonic balancer off. with the balancer off, taking the timing cover off is easy, something like 10 bolts, then take the timing chain off and then take out the cam.
