I've heard that a set of the 1.9 rockers zzp sells are the stock rockers and seat altered. I'm a cnc machinist by trade and was trying to specifically figure out how to do this myself. The only thing that makes sense to me at this point in time would be milling. 030" off the seat. I've asked many people close to me what they thought and no one really can say how it would work. I read on a post somewhere that they weld on them and then machine them back to their conformity with an extra .030 on them, but I find that hard to believe. It was just a random person that suggested this. Does anyone know for real?

They weld up the factory push rod seat and move it closer to the fulcrum. I have some pictures of my ER rockers(1.8 and 1.85) compared to stock. Let me dig them up...

    Edit:

Ok that makes complete sense and looks really easy. Thanks for the info and pics. So make rocker seat .03" shallower for 1.9 rockers.

The 1.8s don't even seem to be moved closer to the fulcrum. The 1.85s you can definitely tell the seat is closer.

Yea, it's strange, but other pics of ERs I have seen are the same way. I see a difference, but it's not as drastic as the 1.85s when there is on a .05 difference in the ratio.

Also make sure you mill the guides out a bit. Blurry pic, but you can kinda see:
Retros, LEDs, SD Hood GMPP, Votland, Addco
06+ Impala brakes, L76 Springs, ERs, Self-Tuned, 3.5 Gen V L32, Ported TB, 240a CS144, SSAC, Upgraded Transmission, Android Head Unit, Remote stuff, GXP Seats

^^ Yea I see, because seat is closer to fulcrum. I would probably have to match the amount I moved the seat, exact to where the guide directed the pushrod. It does seem possible. I wonder how close it has to be to work? .003? I have never machined on engine internals. Mainly rubber molds lol.
