Thats not abnormal in the least.
Cold idle should be 60-70 and cold driving should be 65-80.
Hot idle around 35-45 and hot driving around 55-65psi.
ive not seen it under 60
Well, you never said that. Explaining things fully is only way for us to know what you want us to know.
The numbers I said are still what you should be seeing give or take 5psi in some cases.
Possible problems could be the gauge itself or the sending unit. Best way to find out is use a manual pressure gauge that you can just quick hook up and see what that says. If the manual gauge says somethings like I said, then you know the sending unit you have is likely faulty.
I never said anything about cold start you assumed that i just said 60 to 80. Lowest and highest at anytime. Gm told me lowest should be 60 for my car. So i guess its ok?

If you are seeing 60 psi at hot idle you must have the worlds best 3800 ever made.
I assume everything with someone who gives so little information. My numbers from my first post still stand and my second post also is something you should look into doing.
No 3800 will have 60 psi of oil pressure with a heat soaked motor.
Aren't you the one who posted the same thing on facebook? And got told your glowshift gauge is cheap......and not very accurate and not to worry.....
i got a glow shift o/p gauge, its at 25 psi when the the engines off. does yours drop to zero car off? mine dont, its at 25 psi off.
75 cold, 50 warm. its 25 psi to high cause the gauge is pos.
^exactly.....cheap gauge. Use it for a baseline if something starts showing different then your gauges "normal" you know something is going on. But OP your gauge is crap. Hence why it's reading strange.
heres my pos glow shift o/p
this is warmed up at idle. just came off the hwy.
its either the sender, or the gauge, or both. cheap is just that, cheap. 30 dollar gauge, lesson learned.

seems accurate like i said GM said no lower than 60
Your motor is fine. And you don't have 65psi at hot idle. /thread
