So being new to the forum I see a lot of negative talk about ZZP. I was just curious why? I recently made a purchase with them and was satisfied with the purchase and email communication. But on the forum I read so much negativity about ZZP and curious why.
    Thanks,
    Brett

sadly a lot of people dont have smooth transactions, their customer service blows hard core. and they charge a lot for stuff that can be bought at a parts store for 1/2 the cost.

like the metal elbows dorman came out with, they claimed they make em, and sold them for $20 a set. where you can buy them at a parts store for $10.

same goes for the gasket kits, and brake kits. all marked up so high its boarder line theft.

#1. there custom service is pretty terrible (seems to be better that it has been in the past

#2. There stage packages suck and are way overpriced

#3. A lot of there information is outdated and wrong

    #4. Lack of quality control

#5. A lot of what they offer can easily be purchase locally or at one of the many part stores for much cheaper.. If you know what your looking for or what vehicle that parts come off of. Example.. There's brake upgrades.. Easily can be had for way less then what they charge. Example Fbody upgrade.. You think hey it's to much work to figure out what I need to get myself I'll just pay ZZP $400-500 for there package.. Wrong.. Fbody calipers/brackets from a firebird or newer issue Impala, rotors from the same car, your choose of pads. Bam might cost you in reality around let's say $200-250 or so. (Much cheaper if you go the JY route). And ZZP just doubled that price on you.

Unfortunately the wbody platform is rather dead and depending on what you need.. Sometimes ZZP is the only vendor that has it so shop wisely and research the **** out of something before you just spend the money with ZZP and shop around the classified
