The headlights on my GTP are Terrible I cant see worth a crap almost like they aren't on, compared to my other car, or my last few.
The last GTP I had, had the crappy projector HID lights, which were bright enough.
My lights are really foggy, with oxidation.
Is it the Oxidation doing it, or do the stock headlights on the GTP really suck that bad?

trying to figure out if I should bother cleaning them or just replace with some other solution.

Yes, yes and yes. Oxidation is probably your main issue, but condensation can obstruct light also. Our headlights do truly suck.

Worth a try, but nothing beats brand new housings.

Old and polished on the left, brand new TYA housings on the right:

The oxidation on lenses yes hurts output and yes the stock design is poor but can be adequate if in good condition. Under the plastic cover between the upper core support and bumper theres a ground wire that seems to affect headlight brightness quite a bit if not a good connection. Bulb type or quality also comes into play, some are better than others.
All Grand Prix, all the time. 69 Model J, 99 GT & GTP coupes. All junk, haha.
