So I'm taking my passenger side cv shaft off today, pull it out and see some bearings on top of it. Anyone have any idea where they could have come from? Also, one of the teeth on the cv is sheared, should I be worried?

Can't make much out of that description myself. Not sounding good. Can you post a pic or two?

Tried, it won't let me upload, keeps saying upload failed and I have perfect WiFi signal as well as 4g data.

Maybe too big (file size), if trying to add as an attachment here. Works best if uploaded elsewhere and linked here. Good luck.

Ok, I finally got it to upload and it's good enough that you can see what I'm talking about I think. I pulled it out and these were on top, I'm guessing it's from a pulley. The knuckles separated while I was trying to hammer out the rusted splines on the bearing (ended up ruining that) so I'm guessing that because I was hammering on the CV it knocked these loose from somewhere. No idea where for sure though.

I'm not entirely sure. I noticed the new one has a paint strip in the same location so it may just look like it's worn/sheared because of the lighter color. That being said, this thing is ridiculous to put back in....

make sure you didn't take out the needle bearings in the diff cover. look just inboard of the axle seal rubber with the axle out. make sure all the rollers are still in their cage.

those are possiblty the inner CV tripod bearings, they are in between the tripod and the spherical rollers that fit into the three lobes of the inner tulip

I think Turbo is right, I looked and they seem to be very similar. I actually got the car back together and drove it. The good news is it drives with no discernible problems, the bad news is it still popped when I put it in reverse so Idk if I fixed the issue or not...
