I found a really nice pair of leather seats from an 04 GP GT in a Junkyard for a steal ($32/each). I read through the seat swap stuff and was considering nabbing them and doing the swap. Can the passenger seat be wired for the seat heater to work?

Yep, there's a thread on how to do it, lemme go find a link.

You have to make a heated seat bezel, but that's not that bad, here's mine:

It can be, you need another heated seat switch, and you need to wire a fuse for it I believe. Also have to wire up the wires on bottom of seat, theres a how to.

I have the 04+ seats in my 01, i only have driver seat wired though. I am "lazy".
I didnt notice you posted the link too..ha.
If you use the power located under the seat as your power supply.. it's already fused. Been there.. done that.. piece of cake. ask if you have any questions on products etc to make the bezel.
I may have to not be lazy and wire up my passenger seat if theres already power there. Are you talking about the power that goes on the side of the car or is there some under the carpet? I have the extra switch, just not the wire harnesses, but may be able to just do it with the wires coming out the seat.
FYI - I have a dual switch bezel with the pass. side switch for $30 shipped if you're interested in going forward with this project.
