What are some of the best tires for a 2000 GTP coupe? It has the stock 16 inch wheels so the tire size is 225/60/R16. I currently use Goodyear Eagle GT tires for spring-fall and Firestone Winterforce tires for winter. The Winterforces are great in the snow so I'll stick with those for winter. I love my Eagle GT's - they look great, feel great, and perform very well rain or shine. Unfortunately, the tread life isn't all that great and after a few years they're looking pretty thin and it might be time to replace them soon. If there's something out there similarly priced (or cheaper) with similar performance specs, good looks and better tread life, I'd love to know about them. Please give me some feedback. Keep in mind the GTP is my daily driver. Thanks so much!

Firestone FR710 and General RT43's come to mind. I won't put Badyears on anything that I plan to DD. Couldn't wait to get them off my Vic once they wore out.

As far as good looks, well, they're all black and look good with tire shine....

I run the RT43's on my 00 GPGT and they seem to be doing just fine. Resist hydroplaning well and aren't loud.

I've had both 710's and RT43's and much prefer the RT43's myself.

Im currently running cooper cs5 ultra touring tires, I think there still doing the rebate on them dont quote me on it though. But they grip good and the treadlife i believe is 60k. I like them even better then the cs4's i had on my 04.

It had the CS4's when I bought the car. I wasn't much of a fan, but I'll look at the CS5's
