there's a ported supercharger for sale i've been eyeing up. the thing is , was it ported right ? i read that removing to much material is counter productive. plus the inlet is ported and i was wondering if it's ok to run a stock throttle body with it ported ?

M90 home ported inlet & outlet, fresh repack of needle bearings, ZZP hd coupler & Delco pcv kit installed. Will come with lower intake. No lower manifold bolts, no pulleys or adapter. Just the s/c and lower intake. $150 + shipping.

Looks ok, bolt bosses removed from the outlet and general clean up. As for the inlet, there's a casting bump that gets removed and open it up as much as possible. Also can the diameter of the opening can be enlarged if your using a larger (n*) TB. Porting a Gen 3 is a simply is a simple process.

that one was machined with a milling machine. I have a w-body store gen 3 that I'm going to be selling soon it has a gen 3 rotor pack that has the gen 5 coating. I didn't seal the snout very good and it leaks a little. if you are interested, pm me, and we will see if we can work something out.

i'll keep that in mind. since i don't have a pulley puller and ain't interested in paying 100 bucks for one , i'd just swap the snout anyway . all i need is a ported outlet housing.

for reference here's what i did for my own car that is a basic, standard port. the port in the picture you showed he just didn't leave the rounded corners at the bottom of the triangle and went straight to the edge of the outlet. it's fine, no big deal. that won't affect it. (don't mind the sealed noise ports)

and for an inlet picture here's what i did when i sealed the EGR and smoothed it out...

basically if that ported blower is cheap it's an upgrade over what you have (stock). you honestly can't get much more crazy with them...

Honestly for the cost, I'd save the money and buy a slightly more expensive and better Gen V.

In the past though.. before Gen v's were reasonably priced ... I ported as well. Took smooth to a new level.

I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
