So at least once a week, someone will ask what their car is worth. I will start off by saying, DE-MOD YOUR CAR! Your mods only lower your cars value. I know there are some mods that aren't too easy restore, but do the best you can. A clean, decently low miles, no rust Grand Prix is about $3000. That's all your gonna get. Maybe $3100. So all of you asking in the $6000+ range, keep asking. Let's say your car has low miles, but has a fair amount of rust. $2500 is a good price for that. These cars aren't expensive so you aren't gonna get a lot of money when you sell yours. If you want to get the most for your car, start at $3500 and see if people will bite at it. Anything more than that, you won't sell your car easily. Maintenance helps a bit with value, but not much. I hope this will reduce the amount of posts/new threads. Feel free to change the numbers if they are off, but this is what I've found to be the case.

    FWIW Jared..

I paid $1500 for an 04 that came with tons of parts and needed a coolant elbow. Had I think 120K miles.

$3100 for a gp.. you must be nutty
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Hahaha I agree with Priceless, because I could never get what all my time and the parts in there are worth! So accordingly, I might as well say $25k cause nobody in the right mind would pay that... But then again, has been proven time and again, there's a sucker born every minute!

Bill, you can change the numbers to something more appropriate. I just thought these would be the best numbers. All I was doing was making this thread so people stop making threads asking their cars value. Those are unneeded.

Jared.. you are never going to slow down "how much is my pos worth?" or any other common thread for that matter. Chill and just answer the question or skip the post.

FWIW I sold my Regal with 260K miles for $2500, I think of that as quite uncommon though
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
