Hey folks, I have a '00 Regal LS I bought about a month ago to use as my daily. Had a GTP earlier this year that turned out to be a complete lemon, so this is it's replacement. This car has been good so far but I have found that I have slow leaks in both of the rear tires and the fronts are a bit dry rotted, so I think I'm just going to replace all of my tires, but would also like to see what is out there for wheels for these cars.

Only wheel I've really been looking at are the 17x8 Mustang Bullitts, what size tire would I need to make this work on a stock height car? I think stock was like 245/45/17?

Any suggestions on other wheel/tire's you guys have ran? Thanks

your tires maybe shot, but in the end the regal wheels leak. look inside the wheel where the brakes are, if the chrome is peeling off thats why they are leaking.

i went with a set of caddy wheels on my regal. same lug pattern.

Thanks guys, yeah Scotty I read that the wheels on these cars tend to leak for whatever reason, not too worried about it as they'll be gone soon. I plan to go with the Bullitt's since I found out my buddy has a nice set he's selling. Anything that I need to do to make this work properly or do they just bolt right on like I've been reading? Tires are actually 245/45/17 on this particular set I believe.

Hoping it's not going to look goofy with the smaller sidewall, hard to find good info/pics on stuff like this for these cars nowadays.

BTW, like the STS wheels, they seem like they would be tough to find though lol

your gonna have some gap. iirc my winter wheels are 225-50-17, with i found 55;s but you take what you can get used lol

in this pic iirc the back set ar 45's those have been replaced since this pic. and the ass sags on my car a bit.

im on stock suspension, if lower it would fit better.

this one shows how thin the back tire is.

Scotty, thanks for the pics. Honestly on your car the 45's in the rear don't look terrible, maybe it's just because the wheels are black but that's not nearly as bad as I thought. If the 45's look funny on these bulltt's, I'll just buy new tires because I'm getting them for so cheap. But regardless it has to be better than the stock alloy Buick 16's I have lol

thats because the ass of mine sags from all the junk in my trunk lol

stock tires and wheels. not to much wheel gap, the backs are tucked up a bit too. gives ya idea just how much smaller they really are.

you will have 4x4 status lol

the ride quality sucks too. i cant wait to get them winter wheels off every spring.

reminds me, i want to paint them wheels silver or re dip em silver. i cant stand the black wheels.

but considering i got them looking like this and it was black or neon green dip, black was a easy choice lol
