Found this, I'm going to try it once I get the pulley and coil pack shelf out of the way. Should be very easy to find the leak after that.

I haven't technically located it, I have a very good idea where it's coming from but I don't know the exact location. I'm betting its either the right side of the pump or it's the lower hose, not sure which one but I'll know when I put pressure on it after I get the pulleys and coil pack shelf out of the way.

I would use a pressure tester from the parts store over the air hose, not a bad idea, but the pressure tester builds up pressure and does not just blow a ton of air right away. I might be a tad too cautious though.
How common is it for the timing chain plates to leak? I'd take a video of the leak if I had 3 hands but Ya... It's leaking either from the plate or from the hose, there's so much water coming out that I'm not sure which one is leaking. I have to wait to take the hose off an investigate further due to the engine being hot.

It's leaking from either right there on the hose or from the timing chain cover, with as much water is spewing everywhere I can't be sure, and I have to wait to touch anything because the engine is still very hot.

once you get the hose off i bet you find a split right at the clamp.
i ditched that clamp and put a real hose clamp on there, much easier to get it off and on like that.
Well, it's a brand new hose that I put on Saturday...

then you want to check that the tube it clamps to is clean and free of any old busted off hose that maybe stuck to it.
a small chunk of crap will let the hose leak for sure.
I didnt feel anything when I put it on, but I am taking it back off once it's cooled down to check for debris and possibly a crack

you got the clamp on square just past the hump right? if its not on flat past the hump it can also leak. your clamp looks to be right on the edge of the hump. maybe just pushing the clamp a little further away from the hump will fix it too.
I put it in the same position the old one was in, I'm assuming that the old one was right

Did you seal the threads on the water pump bolts? I don't remember if they go into the coolant jackets or not.
I know where I'd start checking first.I replaced the lower radiator hose hoping that would fix it as I thought it was leaking from there, that made it worse, so yesterday I replaced the water pump and gasket. Now its literally pouring out of the front of my engine
It's the cover, I pressurised the line and I can feel the stream coming out of the cover behind the outlet so.... Looks like I'm calling some shops to see how bad it's going to kill my wallet

So, the going price is 600 just to replace the gasket, is it me or is that ridiculously high?
Anyone want to tell me if I can do it without taking the engine out?

it can be done in the car no problem. you'll have to take just about every thing off the front of the engine and a few bolts out from the oil pan under the cover.
down to this, then you can unbolt the timing cover. you can leave the water pump on the cover. just the 4 long bolts in the water pump need to come out as they hold the cover on too.
a/c compressor can stay on. you'll need a balancer puller with the proper bolts too. air gun makes short work of it, but can be done by hand.
