Im a old school muscle car guy so Summit Racing has always pretty much been my one stop shop for parts on my GTO. Now Ive added a 07 GP GT to my collection and Summit doesn't offer much. Seen lots of people here talking about ZZPerformance so Ive checked them out but I wasn't sure if there are any other resources out there. Over all it doesn't seem like the 07 GT has am many bolt on go fast parts as earlier years. Im mostly wanting suspension stuff for handling, brakes for stopping, and maybe little stuff like cold air box. Id like to take this out and Auto X to see how it compares to my GTO, which just loves to over power the track and loves to eat cones in the slalom.

I did see RA has a pretty good deal on Stop Tech rotors, mat be overkill at $90 each.

Coils no... Stock delco ones are just fine.

Msd wires.. Sure if you want some prettier ones but stock or part store brand ones work just as fine.

GM did a really good on the ignition system voltage on the 3800 platform, so no real need to upgrade the plug wires and coil packs. don't bother with a cold air intake, they don't make much difference, most people just build their own for a tenth of the cost that zzp charges.

w body suspension upgrades are always worth it. look for the GMPP sway bar kits on rock auto or even in Jegs/Summit, you might cross reference to Impala. if you can find GMPP trailing arms or Dorman boxed trailing arms that's good. lowering springs and AGX struts will help

I'm so used to driving my Yukon everyday I might have to wait a little bit before I drop the GP any lol.

As for the sway bars I see some say you have to have early a arms? I guess there are clearance issues after 04

But since yours is 07 you don't have to worry about the control arms. I just changed both sway bars on my 07. They are same as 97-03. The 04 05 front sway bar mounted on strut ours are on control arm just like 97- 03.
