    after parking in the same spot for 5 years i had made a 3 foot round stain in the parking lot.

    new engine is leak free is so damn nice now i tell ya.

    Pretty much what it is. The whole seam is wet, but doesn't drip. And if it does, it must do it once a week because I've never noticed oil stains.

    get under the car. wipe it clean with a rag, then spray it all down with brake cleaner. then a day or so later see whats wet, and where.

    take the plastic inspection cover off too and clean that. it is wet inside, the rear is likely leaking.

    I like how this was a thread that was supposed to be about final preparations for my LIM gasket and now it's turned into a totally different topic. From what I've heard, this is normal .

    Well no luck on the TB hose. Junkyard didn't have any that I saw. Then again, I only looked in the Pontiac part, will have to check the Buick and Chevy sections later this week. But every GP motor I found didn't have one. Must be a pretty common problem for them to break that easily.

    you talkin about that plastic vacuum step hose that ubends on both ends ? i used the scotty method. shoved a smaller hose into a bigger hose...it worked !

    Went to the junkyard again today and found the original Y-hose on a LeSabre. All is good now .
