    car has been sitting cple months boosted it to start battery is fine, but for a second sounds like going to turn but goes to loud clicking. is that starter do you think???

    you hear the click from the dash area? like behind the gauge cluster? if so bad starter. try hitting the starter with a hammer. it may fire up, but its a temp fix, it may not work the next time with out being hit.

    I'd clean the battery cables and the one going to the starter.

    Might not be getting enough juice.

    tyvm for the ideas. what i did was disconnect battery and yes clean the posts cables etc... pumped the gas as was starting and i am on the road. tyvm again all
