My work only uses the Master packs, saves us a ton of money in the long run and they are wix filters.

I even ask for the ProSelects when I grab oil for my own vehicles, I'm all about saivng that dollar.

LOL. That's the lowest filtration of the 4 they sell.

A new filter is a new filter to me, if you change it often enough and don't over do the oil change you are just fine.

And it's still a wix, so it does just enough for the 3-4k mile oil changes.

So is this going to turn into a 30 page page thread like the other oil filter thread from a few years ago?

Mobil 1 synthetic 5-30 for GPs and a Fram(at least for now). Just because I can get both at Wilmart.
I thought the last oil thread was less than a year ago when the Fram rep showed up

I'm not gonna run synthetic in my car because it already leaks around the oil pan (I think. It's pretty wet down there), and I don't want more leaks. I bought 10W-30, thicker the better for my car lol.

It's normally 10w/30 unless you use the oil pressure kit from intense

When I took my car in for an oil change for the first time, they put in 5W-30 Service Pro Synthetic Blend oil.
