SSC springs.
Canuck motor sports makes them, buy directly from them to save money.

I used the 04-08 on my 04 but I think the 97-03 would probably look better and give a more even wheel gap.

You guys all running stock struts on the SSC? I definitely want some drop, but if I was to install new struts too are stock fine or something else? Also have to rework the downpipe before I do this which kinda sucks.

I started with 85k FE3s then switched to new FE3s at 105....it improved the ride....drop is the same.Originally Posted by bandook

I put Monroe Sensa-Tracs in. Rides way better than the worn out leakers they replaced.

OK. I wasn't sure if you had to use special struts that were shorter and made for lowering springs. I've heard of struts blowing out when lowering. Is this only on extreme lowering?

no, they'll take a beating with a more aggressive time table. stock struts aren't valved appropriately for the higher spring rates of the lowering springs.
they'll work, but you'll go through them faster.

but before I get the springs , I gotta get rid of these blacked out hub caps ASAP.

If you want to retain stock ride quality, getting the Vogtlands is the right route.
