    Lol,

If I hadn't messed with Fords for so long that stupid thing would have really stuck out, but I had seen it before so I wasn't sure what was there from the factory, my digital boost gauge came in right after I bought the mechanical gauge (tired of waiting) and it had a filter too so that just made the case stronger that it was a filter. I realize for such a slight movement of air it shouldn't be necessary, but being new to the SC section I wasn't sure. Lord knows GM changes things all the time. I have had the Series 2 3.8 for a long time and never had much trouble out of it until the CPS went bad, and made the mistake of buying the AZ replacement. Still guys thanks for your efforts. And If I'm in your area I'll buy dinner.

I am going to start working on my own intercooler and already purchased the LIM and now I have a spare GenV so I am pretty much set for mocking it up. I have a few other things I need to do. Seems everyone likes the bolts I have so I might just make a kit as Bob suggested.

Today I want to do the Snoopy dance!

Awesome. For payment to the community you can do a nice detailed write up on how you make a diy intercooler. Just a suggestion

Lol, I plan on it, I am going to start with a Laminova setup I have and go from there, but I will probably go through a few revisions, but I'll post some milling and lathe porn while I am working on it.

Hmmm, mill and lathe, guess not so much diy . I was thinking phonelic around some kind of oil cooler. I made a spacer out of 1/2" phonelic, seems it would be fairly simple to layer several pieces and stack them around a core.

Well what I'm planning is a couple of different styles 1 can be done with a saber saw (jig saw) and a core. I'm looking at a few different cores. But the Laminova system is one I think I can fit enough area in there to make it efficient enough for a good cooler. The problem is going to be height. I need to measure how much room I actually need. I want to go and pick up a couple fuel rails to modify without using hose or spacers. They are stainless so it shouldn't be too bad, just back purge with argon after cleaning them out and shouldn't end up with dognuts on the inside of the tubing.

Bandook's idea is similar to what I want to try first.

Ran into Houston today more as an excuse to drive the car. Watched KR and on the freeway I got to about 8 psi and a peak of 4.8*KR car drives like its stock again not noticing anything odd. Going to change back to the 05' PCM after the fire in the sky goes away. Then fill it up again tomorrow.

That's about what I saw when I was stock. Pretty similar to a few 04+ ones I've seen. Glad you got it making boost again. A set of headers will kill that knock easy, btw.

You should start a build thread to keep us updated on your modding when you get around to it. Good luck.

That's what I had read was it was going to have KR stock and it's about as stock as it will get for now. Since I replaced the SC with a bone stock one with pressed on pulley I won't be tempted to swap to smaller ones for now lol. I will I'll get around to making a thread when I start getting everything together. Probably be at least a few weeks before I do anything. I'm just going to enjoy it as it right now, and start fixing the little things like the HUD always displaying 105* and see about the SRS situation. And the doors have been removed and are causing too much friction on the rods. Start with the easy things and move on to the next thing. I'm going to start just pulling it into the shop after work at least it's AC'd in there. Need to get a few parts here and there.

Lol, I think I may come up with one that can be easily made at home with minimal speciality tools, and less than $150 in parts that should work pretty well.

Billboost rented out the house he worked out of. New house has mint driveway and garage. Only work happening here is my own or something beyond clean.
