    i have a gtp w/135000 miles on it just seem as nice as it used to runs fine but the ride is so-so how do you know if you need struts ? what are a good set of tires for the car i was wanting some lower profile w/ wider tread ?

    what do you suggest ?

    If those are the original struts at this mileage then I'd go with some KYB GR-2's all around. I like my General Altimax RT43's. Lower profile and wider tread won't help it look any better. The wheel gap on stock rims is bad enough, especially with new struts. There are tire size calculators out there that will help you find out what size tires you can run without throwing off the speedometer.
