Ok, so my speaker blew on my passenger door. Im looking at replacing both front door speakers but want some input on what brand to go with and hoping someone knew the correct size. I found 2 different ones i like. I have a Kenwood deck and would like to keep kenwood going in my vehicle. I found Kenwood Performance Series 6 1/2" 3 way car speakers with Polypropylene cones that are on sale for $44.99 and the other set is Kenwood Road series 6 1/2" 2 way car speakers with paper woofer cones on sale for $31.99. Both at Best Buy. any input??? would be greatly appreciated!!

5.5 is whats in there now. you can make the 6.5 speakers fit tho. theres a how to here somewhere.

i kinda figured you could fit them somehow. there must be a harness or something that will fit aftermarket speakers. are those good speakers to look at?

i dont know much about speaker brands. i dont even remember what brand i put in my car any more. i did all 4. just got the 5.5 for the ease factor. lol

all new speakers come with new pig tails, you cut the factory plug off, then solder the new pig tails on.

pocket the money and do it yourself. it really is easy.

HF sells a soldering iron for 3 bucks. shrink tubes for 3 bucks, solder you can get at radio shack for 5 bucks too, thin flux core solder they also sell. works nice.

Just an option... From my experience best buy seems to be quite pricey on things like speakers. I would check amazon just to make sure your getting a good deal .

Representing all the N/A out there. Fastest stock N/A you will ever come across.

I love Sonic. Also, doesn't the 04+ have 6.5s in the front doors? If I were you, I'd invest in a component set up.

    I bought 2 Kenwood speakers for $32. They are size 6 1/2. They only had 6 1/2 and 4.
