Im trying to do some work to my car, i did driver tie rod, driver cv, and front struts..its onto the rear end time, rear sway bar ends, trailing arms, rear driver hub, and struts..

My question is, i got off work, got the car on jack stands, jacked her up, i got the 4 10mm bolts off the hub, but it doesnt want to pop off. Is there any way to get it off? I tried hitting the old hub with a hammer, but it didnt move.

Yup once you remove the 4 10mm bolts you need to hit it with a bfh to knock it loose.

I hit it a few times with a big sledge hammer, the round metal thing got loose thats behind the hub. Not sure wasn't going to go at it too much tonight, tomorrow morning it is on though. Just a few big hits at the hub?

theres 4 10mm bolts that you have to put a socket thats hidden inside the hub, have to use the little holes in the hub to get to them. First time i did a rear one, thought they were similar to the fronts..

being a northern car I bet its slightly rusted in there. If you have some rust penetrate id spray it on tonight and let it soak in.

Its been on the car for 15 years im pretty sure, ill give it some good whacks. What else is after that is it fairly simple? Just remove old hub and put new one in and replace?

Sounds like you just need a bigger hammer.
