Any clue of why the service engine light/Trac light intermittently comes on and off?

Wheel bearings checked out fine with no play. Any other possibility other than the hub connector being loose? Light never stays on.....comes on once in a while and usually cuts back off after the first cycle of the key

Hmm. That is odd. See if you can get it scanned for codes there might be some pending faults.

you need a abs scanner, it will have a history list a mile long of codes.
