My driver rear door is now on it's 3rd window regulator. 😋
On a positive note. Managed to snag a few goodies from LKQ recently; Some dash buttons, driver's side of the windshield cowl, a decent trunk carpet & a few badges. Still haven't been able to find a driver's seat.

I hear a little candle wax in the rubber window channels can go a long way if undue resistance to movement is whats killing regulators.

Deciding if it's time to go (let her go)...

Shame because the engine runs so we'll (Overkill Cam, Headers, etc).

Otherwise if she stays will be a body swap and I'm not sure about doing that... Decisions decisions.

My normal gas getting place was upgrading pumps when I went by so went to a different c store and found 93 at the pump. Thats unusual where I live, have not seen 93 in like twenty years. Been all 91 max. GTP likes. She got a wash job Sunday, gets rained on tomorrow. It thrives on neglect at 288,750 and mounting. Went out to scratch rubber in the 69 after work while its windy but windows down.

The other day I said “yes” to aamco’s motor swap. Hopefully will have the beast home soon... it’s kinda pricey but it’ll be worth it to me!

Brother's going to powder coat my springs and trailing arms for me (CCS springs & umi arms) They desperately need it. I'll try to post pics when we get around to it.

    1. Paid off repair (engine replacement), got car back!
    2. Replaced coolant level sensor (10 mins, easy, did not remove battery, removed passenger headlight assembly).
    3. Ordered ZZP front & rear strut tower bars.
    4. Installed rearview-mirror radar detector mount.

    --off to work! ttyl!

Worked on my 00 GT finally. Pulled out the broken hangers from the mufflers and strapped them back up to level. No more worry about loosing the catback for now. Noticed the middle hanger on the y is broken too. Left the mufflers alone since after closer inspection the seams on both are shot. Not worth the time to try and patch shut. Time to look for some new mufflers/tips and grab a stock y from the junkyard. Seeing as how it's all factory from the res back I can't complain.

Replaced the burned out LED in the rear door light and found out that the front door had disconnected itself. A little tape on the plug and now all 4 of the door courtesy lights are working again.

Filled the trans back up. Was a bit over a quart low somehow. Gotta find that leak before it eats what is left of this trans, lol.. Now is NOT the time for a trans swap. Really need to find a place to get a good performance trans built. Might have to email Dave at TEP and see what he can do nowadays. Not sure who else is still worth the $$.

Got a break in the weather today so I washed/waxed it and vacuumed/detailed the inside finally. Used the compressor to blow out the junk from the engine bay. Lexol on the leather seats too since they were getting dry. Looks 10 times better now. Will take it out in the sun tomorrow and see what spots I missed, lol. Then take it for a cruise and enjoy not rolling around in a dirty sh*tbox for a few days until it rains again

One car left that works. GTP took a dive on the interstate last night but limped it home. Brakes are toast on the 69. Bad thing after bad thing keeps happening, its another round of fight to exist. GT, don't fail me now.

After having my orders cancelled 4 times I finally located a new fuel supply line for my best friends 01 GT. Stroke of luck on Amazon showed 2 sellers, and 1 was a GM dealer that is local. Called em up and had them verify that they could actually lay hands on it and the price was what the interwebs said. All good and picked it up this afternoon after going through 2 sales guys once I parked. With the GP still clean it garnered a compliment from one of the shop guys. Wanted to know where I got the hood and spoiler for it, lol. Was nice to get a look on the old guy and it definitely stood out among the sea of SUV's on the lot.

Now comes the fun part of figuring out how to replace the supply line...

The other day I put a new center console in (cupholder and its housing, part) and also replaced both window regulators in my coupe!

Doing some major suspension updates. Bead blasting & powder coating the springs and trailing arms. Painting the struts. New trailing arm bushings. Also, replacing one missing sleeve 🤷. Lastly I got camber bolts and a camber tool. I'll update once everything is painted/powder coated.

Got my trailing a bushings & sleeve from UMI Performance. The bushings are gigantic. Definitely not for a Grand Prix. The sleeve on the other hand was almost right. They gave me the forward sleeve instead of the rearward. I'm hoping I can send all this back for the correct parts. Rather not have to buy new trailing arms since I just power coated mine, plus more $$$

Got tint done, may need to take back for them to redo rear window, but might ignore and leave it. I’ve had a bunch of cars done by this place, usually pretty darn good. Idk if it’s cuz I have body damage or what.

I discovered that I’m having trouble with A/C but also probably the cooling system itself. Hoping AAMCO will deal with it under warranty.
