Right! Still need to check that. I drove it yesterday too, forgot you had recommended trying that. Heater core looks healthy from the outside.

Changed both mufflers as the driver's side was rotting the tail pipe off, it was actually turned to the side lol, so put some walker quiet flow mufflers on. Also when doing the mufflers decided to push on the wheels to check the rear bearings and what do you know, time to replace them lol, so replaced both rear bearings as well, so after almost owning the car for a year have replaced so many parts I'm thinking about going to service ontario to see if I can officially change the car to a few years newer lol
Drove it at 3am my time, went WOT on a back road...while it was still raining.
Forgot that there's train tracks halfway along the road and hit the crossing going 75... that'll get the heart pumping. lol
the things we do for scans...
I don't do pulls in the rain because spin so much

Took a trunk load of parts off the parts car... Lol, now I gotta find a place to keep all that junk.
Anyone need anything (99' top swapped 4 door) lol?
Bought cold air intake #2. At least this one has all the parts required.....
Also bought some GMPP front caliper brackets (because they were there) that I don't know what to do with. LOL
I think the monte needed tires, I'm gonna hound my sister and tell her keep up on tire rotations.

Just got the brake system to work on the camaro, brand new everything brakes in the rear, welding the exhaust back together, then we're going to complete the accel tune-up and work on fixing the idle.

Flashed a new tune, now to drive it for a week straight and freak out over it every time it jumps wildly to one side or the next. lol
Bought these to see if they A) Look better than the current clears, B) Look better with the new LED fogs.....
Haven't seen these on e-Bay for a while, so guessing I got lucky finding 'em.
Interesting I got an update email about this thread, but it read what did you do to your "car" today lol.
A bunch lately that I haven't mentioned. Switched back to the 02 after I replaced the outer cv boot and fixed the muffler that I kind of broke lol. Also did an eyeball alignment on the 02, that straightened the steering wheel out. Also sanded down and polished the oxidized paint on the front bumper cover. All looks good except one small area there's no paint left lol. It was oxidized almost down to nothing. Probably one coat left on the areas I did that look good still. Gotta get gas in it, and a few other odds and ends.
Nothing until this weekend. Just got the Silvy back from trans rebuild. Now it's time for a little trip to the woods
Years ago when my wife and I were just dating she had a '99 GP GT. I backed that thing out of a parking spot at her friend's school (we were there for a play ) and put it in drive- it roasted the tires so hard that smoke was rolling through the air vents. All of her uppity friends are just sitting there horrified that I would do a burnout on the school parking lot...
Truth is, I didn't mean to at all, it had just rained and the asphalt was slick!
That car is long gone (stolen and wrecked), but today I replaced the ratted-out flip up that came with my '07 GT with a new Pioneer receiver. Nothing fancy, just radio and bluetooth. Volume works on this one, though. That other POS went to max volume every time I turned the car on. I wasn't sure if I'd lose a speaker or an eardrum first.
