Crank bolt fight is over, he has put two coats of paint on the SC and headers. Waiting on breakfast then it's on to swap the valve springs and pullies.
Based on my current estimations... he's starting it up either at midnight or tomorrow.
Header paint? Sheesh, how much JD yellow you buy SD?
Ya know header paint should cure for at least 7 days or else you will just burn it off in 5 minutes. Might as well slow down and enjoy your breakfast now.
so 2 days before the meet my car decides to crack a windshield and overheat. cant find where its leaking from..only leaks when it gets up to temp. im thinking its a lower hose?

You bet. I ripped it all out when I got rid of her. Re-installed in the F-250 a few years later, then sold it......when I did the 3G conversion (you've done that to your Bronco, right?).....
Took the truck in for a caliper replacement, got a call it needs rear u joints, RF ball joint, lower trans cooler line, both seals where the axles go in the front diff, and an exhaust manifold stud that randomly left.

engine looks damn cool all yellow and black. once you guys see it all together you will see the plan come together. theres a ton of black on it now.

A while back I was hearing this weird clunk and momentary vibration when first accelerating after it sat for a while. Now I'm hearing that same noise any time I go from drive to reverse. Guess I'm gonna need to do motor mounts this summer, along with the oil pan gasket since that leak will kill a new mount.
Also I charged my ac, and it was ice cold. Now its just cool until I've been driving for like 10 minutes it starts to get cold...
Let my wife drive it to work today. That way when I get in the trims will be settled and I can get some good logs. That's thinkin' ahead.
