I had nothing but problems with Walker's cats on my 97. I've had to replace these cats on so many W-bodies during my time in shops it isn't even funny and when I worked at parts stores, these things always came back.

I got this while working at NAPA. my Discount was $126 lol.

Sort of... IIRC Gutted cat, tried nonfouler. Got DTC consistently but after as long a 2 wks. Got the DP w/cat and emulator, no probs until emulator went bad. During the time before replacing it (quite awhile but can't say exactly how long) it set codes just like the gutted one with u bend did.

I would have turned off the code and driven further. Wait.. my car never complained about a thing. Hmmm maybe I turned off a whole bunch of codes.

(Scotty couldn't get his evap to clear, said he removed codes. hahahaha still had another 2-3. Presto Evap happy)

Hey Blue- I think you're right and that I wrote my first mentioning of nonfouler wrong. I may never have used it in the zzp dp. Sure thought I tried one again when the emulator was bad for awhile though. I just remember making note to self that "Nope, the hi-flo cat sets a DTC also, even with nonfouler in place". I've slept since then and shoulda stayed in bed today. This is why I stay out of tech threads for the most part, not enough knowledge or concern to be legit with my info!

Goodyear integrity. they have like full life on them, guy said they had 10,000 on them, they never left the back of a impala, then the front tires took a dump and they got 4 new tires.

its front end must have been trashed to kill a pair of tires in 10,000 miles.

no you cant lol i was unsure what he wanted, 50 each, or 50 for the pair. i was very happy when he said 50 for the pair. well worth the almost hour drive both ways.

my back tires are so bald its not funny any more. im using the wear indicators as tread now lol

I haven't done a damn thing to it lately besides the usual gas, wash and sweep on occasion. She needs polished bad. But on the flip side.... photo shoot with it next week! We are getting some engagement pictures done and are going to incorporate the vehicles into some.

I really need to get mine washed and polished. Every time I plan to do it I either get a call to go help someone do something, or the weather looks sketchy.

I might just have to do it in stages if that keeps happening.

Yeah, same here. I haven't tried to yet though. With work being so busy right now I can't. Then the wedding coming up...I doubt it'll get any TLC until the fall. Plus Lee wants his truck done.

    There's always next year, lol.

The most it's gotten was a quick wash at the bay car wash. My interiors always pretty damn clean but it's been years since the leather had a good scrubbing and coating. Also need to find a day to clean the Alcantara where I don't need to go anywhere to allow it to dry. Needs a polishing bad but with the pollen and being in the 90s and no overhead I'll be putting that off for awhile.

If I had a garage I would probably have polished the car as soon as spring hit and had waxed it a few times, but no garage means more stuff gets put off.

My uncle has told me I could bring it to his house to do it, but I don't think he realizes how long it actually takes, even with the PC. I'd rather work at my own pace, at my own place, and jam to music on my headphones while I do it.

I had the same problem, so I used a quarter car wash bay that was out of service lol. Was there for a few hours, didn't use any tools so no power outlet wasn't an issue. Was just a well lit dry place to work for as long as I wanted.

Same here I can go over to my buddies house and use his garage but it's not a quick process and with his hyper ass son we won't get much accomplished. Probably just put it off till fall or I might knock out a panel here and there
