Next time go faster, Be the Blur

LOL I will try better next time.
I wasn't going straight thru the intersection. I was turning left, which isn't a 90* left, doing 60km/h (around 40mph), braking, and worrying about other traffic as their light was about to go green. Luckily this is a long light. I was going to try and fight it, as the images show my brake lights on, and the car across the white lines; hoping they didn't have more images of me continuing through the intersection. Then I noticed the speed stamped on the image. Case closed. LOL I paid the ticket early to get a $20 discount.
Can't do multiple links? Fine. Be that way. Hi-res pics it shall be. LOL
Files to big. FAWK!!!!!!!!
Will have to past the images or links later. Stupid site keeps linking 1 image to al links, even though I manually re-type. Did I say FAWK?
That was painful. Last one.....

New oil pressure sensor installed along with oil change recently. Good to see the needle back near 70psi while cruising on the highway at 60+ mph. Much better than the ~25 I was seeing. Much relief. Means I can keep this motor as a spare for other things.
Had another chance to drive the Caddy like I stole it due to the flooding around here. My road has been the only way in/out around the flood for over a month so backing out of the driveway has been a challenge, especially since most cars are doing at least 40mph (speed limit is 35). Had an F350 come up yesterday as I was leaving and had to stand on it to keep from getting plowed. Really woke up somewhere around 3.5K.
Everything is breaking down on the GXP.
*There's a 2x4 holding up passenger rear window.
*Driver door got jammed, bending the fender somehow.
*Radiator fan's failing & it's summer.
*headlights intermittently turn off @ night.
*CD player hate's any cd printed in the last 10 years.
*Clear coat is mostly gone from rear bumper.
Minor stuff I know but idk if I can be bothered to fix it anymore. But hey, car still runs great and has an awesome hood. Haha!
^^ Sorry to hear about your problems with the car. Little things that just seem to keep adding up can just seem overwhelming. But like you said it still runs good and it definitely has a great hood on it. I remember awhile back trying to get you to make me one.
Got back from vaca in KC MO this weekend. Was a good shakedown run for the Caddy. Time for a tuneup on it, but ran like a champ otherwise. Cruised right along at about 80mph for a good chunk of time with a few passings almost touching triple digits.
Got in the GP today to go into town and noticed a clunk on the drivers side when I'm just about stopped. Can feel it in the floorboard. Not sure what that's about. Might be time for subframe bushings. All the others usual suspects looked to be ok and the brakes are tight (thought maybe loose caliper). Time to drop the $300 for all new upper and lower bushings. I know that a previous oil leak hasn't done any favors for the pass. side ones and they all have over 420K on them now so I'm sure they're getting tired. One of the only things I haven't replaced on this car yet, lol.
Been having issues with the "ignition saver" mod for a few months. The relay didn't always turn on when it should. Started being a second or two, then got longer and longer before it would turn on. I spent some time yesterday looking for the problem; all connections good and relay good. Found that the wire that is to trigger the relay, was getting only 3.7-4.1 volts. I could not figure out why, so I stopped for the day and figured I would just change it out for another ignition 12v source.
So, this morning I take all my gear back out to the car, and just my luck, the wire that had 3.7-4.1 volts is now putting out 11.9 volts. FAWK. Not looking to figure out why, I removed the wire from the relay, found another ignition 12v source, and wired it in to the relay. BAM. Works and tests like a champ.
Crossing my fingers that no other weird things happen with this simple mod. LOL
Oh, and I found this mod on ClubGP years back. Appears that they are no longer.
Now I have a clicking noise when the steering wheel turn right. Does it ever end? LOL
Been working on the PontiCrack a bit. Fixed that jammed door and ordered a new radiator fan. And finally got around to putting the lower air deflector on & it does help lower underhood temps.
Havent done much cuz I got side tracked with a project pops gave me. A 2000 Explorer that does not run. So far we've replaced the fuel pump, crankshaft sensor, oil pressure switch and egr sensor. When we went to check the oil there was just way too much and it looked ucky. So we decided on an oil change. Good idea. Nothing came out of the drain plug. Dropped the pan and found an inch of sludge. Waiting on a few more parts in the mail then we'll get it running and yes get rid of it.
Got my replacement injector for the 60's. So pulled the stockers back off, reinstalled 60's. Yay, I can finally tune wot again! Spent two hours tuning, was happy with it. Came home, opened hood to cool engine. Noticed I left a line disconnected from the vac tree. Boooo. Had to retune...
Also picked up a tube of Exhaust Cement. Friggin Speed Daddy headers. I will win this war!
Parked her on the street to make room for the new ride.....
