    So I got a new key a couple of months ago and it won't fit in the trunk lock. Is there anything I can do to fix it? The original and new key look exactly the same.

    Often new keys have burrs and need to be wire brushed a good amount to be smooth and fit well.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
