What's up guys... I am ridding SD headers with other mods and I just installed an SLP loudmouth 2 muffler on in replacement where the resonator goes to straight pipe all the way back to non resonated exhaust tips... Pretty damn loud, tomorrow I'll be posting up a video of the loudness...

To compensate for the loudness the only thing I have in mind is throwing on a Cat now... Any further suggestions to lower the loudness?

All I can say is wait till the video so you can understand how I feel, don't get me wrong I love the setup but not how loud it is we can just say when I blimp the throttle in tunnels it's echo's the entire tunnel there is no hiding that coming.

What cat would be a good suggestion cause I can't say I have room for a resonator. Lol

I am running a 3.3mps and barely hear the damn blower on a gen v now ugh

Soon: Stage 3 p&p heads, 1.9s and #90s.. All sitting for no reason just need installed.

You probably want both, the resonator and a cat.
I ran with out a cat for several months and was not the smartest thing to do.

Yup I ran catless for awhile.. Got tired of it!

I'm running a Magnaflow 59959 it was one of the shortest 3" cats I could fine since space was limited. It's 8" long IIRC

Sorry man a wbody that sounds like a truck...........

a gm 3800 will never sound good unless its drowned out by blower whine or turbo spool.
How I treat my car: wreck, fix, repeat.

I'm going to have to go with that cat then REDCOMG, since yeah space is limited here as well, the other question for you would be did it lower the sound at all? Lol
