So when everything gets replaced and nothings leaking, how am i gonna clean all of the oil off the engine without taking the engine out. Spray degreaser on it and spray it with a hose?

that how i do it. if you have car ramps get up there and spray under the engine and tranny, sub frame and so on.

nothing really needs to be covered or sealed up from the water, if you have a open cone filter take it off bag the tb hole. and the alt, just dont blast it with water and its fine.

    everything else can get wet.

dont bother covering it up, just dont blast it directly. it can get wet, just dont soak it. stock air box can also get wet.

meh, ive cleaned my engine so many times. i dont cover jack shiat. like i said, just dont directly blast the alt. last few times i did it at the self wash at the car wash. hot, high pressure wand works great. i left the open cone filter on and just avoided it too.

Grab a gallon of purple power from walmart, it's concentrated, should be plenty. Spray it, let soak for a few minutes, and hit with a brush. It'll come out pretty clean when you rinse.

i normally get two cans, cause one is never enough. you should get 3 cans.

last few times i used crc brand engine de greaser, it has the least amount of smell after its washed off.

dont do this in your drive way if your car is super greasy, you'll really mark up the driveway good. take it to the street if you can, or the self car wash.

turning the wheels to the far left will let you reach in and spray the lower part of the tranny from the pass side wheel well too. follow the axle to the tranny.

from under the car you can spray between the engine and tranny too.

wear old clothes and some safety glasses. ( a hat also helps) you dont want this crap in your eyes. or on your good clothes.
