I have a 2002 grand prix gt came home fro Mexico starter the car and brushed the snow and ice off it. Turned the wipers on nothing, lifted the hood to make sure i got all the ice out. Still didn't run, now I know your all thinking the same I was; blown fuse.

When the car warmed up they started running only problem was the switch was off, they randomly start and stop when the car is warm only and will not run with the switch until the car is warmed up too. According to the wiring diagram there is only the switch and the motor.

I do get the bent tab issue every winter and usually wait till spring to bend it back so they can park in the proper spot.

I could just throw parts at it but I don't like doing that.

    thanks

It's either going to be the switch or the module on the motor.

Sounds like pulse board is going. My wife's GP did similar. New board solved it.

My question is if the switch is off where is the motor getting ignition power from to run? Service manual doesn't even show a pulse board, but Rock auto lists one for the car, where is it hiding because it may have snow and ice in the housing that could be crossing circuits and giving it power threw the board

Wife says when she came home last night they never turn on once stayed down the whole trip home. It wasn't that cold yesterday on-10C (14F).
