I'm looking into purchasing a 2.5in zzp catted downpipe and was wondering if anyone had any problems with the downpipe. Such as check engine lights. And if it does how to fix that. The only upgrade I have is a cold air intake.

yes the CEL does come on for most people because the cat is high-flow. you have 3 or 4 options for the CEL, which should be a P0420 code.

    1. Get the code tuned out (97-07 years only)
    2. Get an o2 emulator (97-03 years only)
    3. Use the anti-fouler mod
    4. Don't give a rat's ass and just keep driving

^ precisely. I have the 3 inch ZZP dp and after a few months the SES light came on. I got an Overkill tune and that took care of it. Still the downpipe is one of my favorite mods. It really brings out that 3800 growl and sounds great with the stock catback, plus you get a few more ponies under the hood and some KR reduction

The 3" dp is a good product and bolts right in. Wbs also makes a quality piece as well.

No codes here. Best mod you can do. The OP isn't blown so I can't speak fully for it. But that with a glass pack and stock mufflers is the best sound you can get out of our cars. It's perfect.
