Hey folks, my heater blower has failed to come on twice in about 4 months. The first time it didn't come on I drove for a little while and it started after a minute or 2. Tonight it didn't come on. Drove it about 40 miles, then re-started the car and it came back on. I'm doubting the motor and resistor as it seems to work well most of the time, and all 5 speeds seem to work. No abnormal noise from the motor when it runs. Does anyone know of an intrinsic problem with the heaters on this car? I'm kinda suspecting a load-reduction relay or something like this? Ignition switch? One other thing, the automatic headlights didn't come on as well, I had to manually turn the lights on.

    thanks, Karl

    Ignition switch is my guess.

Had same issues with our 02 GT, replaced it and all was fixed. Rockauto has ac delco units for 75 bucks.
