Everyone can bad mouth the SD headers all they want, but for what you spend on them they are the best headers available for our platform.

Agreed. I could not give them my $217 fast enough. Even knowing it was recommended to ditch the provided clamps, and that I would have to clearance the exhaust tunnel. I ordered them the day they came back in stock.
If you get not the technical end of it all... Biggest primary for flow and best heat "retention" is what you want for the BEST headers. Of course, you can't have a beer budget and expect champaign in your glass, but you can dream!
SD's are the cheap route many take... You gotta do some work to make em right, ZZP Stainless are reported to be best available anymore, but you pay for it. I took the middle road, Ceramic coated Pacesetters! They're the largest primaries you can still get, they bolted right up without a hitch and work well for me. Don't listen to the naysayers, the early Pacesetters were a problem. I don't know if you can get the ceramic coated headers anymore though, lol. But no matter what headers you choose, your engine will thank you!
Lol...
I think ZZP sells ceramic coated Pacesetters and they supposedly fix the issue with the Y pipe leaking. Something about from the factory the crossover pipe is too small where it goes into the Y. They use a pipe expander and expand the pipe so it fits better.
Modified pacesetters n vbands ftw
