Wiper Blades

Soooo kinda random, but nonetheless.

Looking to replace my Wiper Blades before winter because my current ones are starting to be crappy after maybe 1.5 years I've had them. They are Napa branded and have worked well for me.

So any opinions or personal experiences with specific brands/lines of wipers would be great! Like how you liked them, did they last and work well ect. I usually just get cheap ones but this time around didn't know if something like say those expensive as hell rainx latitude or bosh icons are worth the almost 40 bucks for a set or if it just one of those gimmicks. I usually try to keep Rain X on my windows because its freaking awesome.

I currently run the Piaa Si-Tech's. Great blade. I am on my second set; the first set last just over a year. They are a bit pricy, but I get them really really really cheap here at work, so they are worth it.

Wipers are a tough one. When I was doing hard parts, I used to use Bosch metal blades on my Bronco. Used them for years and years, then all of a sudden they sucked. I switched to Trico plastic, and they were fine for a few more years. There are so many variables as to how a wiper will perform (window condition, climate etc), that there is not one correct answer to your question. When you find a brand/style that works, stick with them.

Thats true, I'm not looking for one specific one really. Just see what everyone is running.

Might just buy Napas again depending on price or try something new.

Bosh icons are the sh1t. Ask any of my friends, I'm cheap as hell and skimp on lots of things. But I love my bosh icon wiper blades. Being in south dakota weather gets pretty nasty, and these have worked the best.

Ty is the cheapest person I know. No joke. Im pretty sure he would use rags to wipe his a$$ so he didn't have to buy TP.....

I've gotten Bosch Icon's the last few times and they've always done great, in spite of me using them to clear ice from the windshield (I should really scrape it). They're about $15 a piece on Rockauto, and if you purchase them, make sure you get one 22A and one 22B. The springs have slightly different tension and they're meant to be used for a specific side. The 22A goes on the left, and the 22B goes on the right.

I have also heard good about the Trico's, and they're a few bucks cheaper. I just like that Bosch tries to account for the windshield curvature on each side. Plus they have an aggressive "spoiler" shape to press them into the windshield at higher speeds, so I find them still working fine while doing 60-70 mph on the highway

Another user of the Bosch Icon's. Got em on everything in our driveway... Never had a complaint yet. Worked great all winter too

well sunny beaches. I learned something with the A and B. I bought 2-22As last time.

I buy them because they look good, work good and last.

Got Rain X Latitude, use them on my ride and my wife's Jeep. Last pair on the Jeep lasted 2.5 years.

I had Michelin Stealths on both my cars... well, the silver car's sold. They're good, except at higher speeds/windy days, they really don't like to actually stay on the windshield.
