I got word recently of a GTX at a local junkyard. I went to hopefully buy the hood but it doesn't have the ram air hood like it should. It has the factory GTX badges on the doors though so I'm wondering if it's a fake or if it was maybe wrecked once. Car is in good shape but has no motor or tranny. I'm just wondering if its a real GTX. It's a black 4 door. The Vin # is 1G2WR5214YF249711

Nothing worth posting. No roof rails, standard spoiler and hood. Wheels had already been sold. They were the skinny 5 spokes. Non polished. I guess someone just put GTX emblems on it. They were a pain to get off though. Looked like they had the factory glue on them. But there's no way it's a real GTX.

    Wasting your time...
GTX cars are not "Factory" they were a dealer option.
There is no information in the VIN to show it as a GTX because none left the factory as a GTX
Dealer records and or SLP records would only show which cars were legit.

Besides, if all the GTX goodies are gone, what's the point?
