These wheels have a 5x114.3 bolt pattern, 16x8, 129mm back spacing. Would they fit on a 97 grand prix

Generally, it's considered a bad idea to put 114.3 bolt pattern wheels on a hub with 115 pattern. A lot of rednecks do it anyway and say they have no problems... but why take chances on friggin wheels?

Do you know how many of us run the 5x114.3 bolt patterns without any issues? Nothing redneck about it it just gives you a greater selections of wheels to choose from. They make hub centric rings for a reason and just torque your lugnuts like your suppose to go and have no worries about braking a stud.

the general tolerances for the bolt patterns on wheels probably makes up for this difference already.
as well as most bolt patterns are designed to be semi-universal. 114.3/115, 120/120.65....it's a simple metric to standard conversion...
i WILL be running 5x120 wheels on my 5x4.5 (120.65) hubs and not caring because it's just that close that it doesn't matter.

Like I said, I haven't heard of any problems of doing so... but I wouldn't tell another person that it is alright to use the incorrect pattern.
It is probably also worth mentioning, if you have another company such as Discount Tire rotate and balance your tires, it is possible they will refuse to touch your wheels for this reason. I doubt the company that manufactures the wheels will tell you this is OK, either.
Sure, these policies may be from just liability concerns. Still, I wouldn't recommend using the wrong pattern to someone I don't know.
.......... You really think discount tire is going to measure, or much less even notice the .7 mm difference in the bolt battern? No they won't.
And everyone who upgrades to FBody brakes, those brakes bolt patter in the disc is much different that the Gp bolt pattern. Also those who do the GXP brake upgrade and run mustang gt500 rotors. Same store.
For the record, I ran 114.3 bolt pattern wheels FOR YEARS.

My slicks and skinnies are 114.3. Haven't broke a stud yet.
As long as the hub bore is the same or you have hub centric rings to eat up the difference there is no problem.
6 years or so running 2 different sets never had a problem and never had a problem getting my tires rotated at big shops..
I'm willing to take your words for it if you haven't run into issues with an alternate bolt pattern. I retract the "redneck" label. Not fair to lump you guys into the same category as people who use standard compression fittings on brake lines and crap like that. That said, it still doesn't seem like a good idea to give people advice to use something that could possibly (even remotely) be unsafe as far as any suspension component goes.
I've seen a fair amount of debate on other performance websites over whether or not it is safe. Also seen a lot of debate over using hub-centric rings on wheels that aren't using the factory lug pattern as well. I see no reason to believe that this subject isn't at least debatable. As far as casting tolerances... what if the holes for the lugs are on the small side of the tolerance? Food for thought.
Glad that the big tire shops haven't bothered anyone on here about their alternate-pattern wheels. I've read stories from others about purchasing 114.3 pattern wheels at one shop, and having other shops turn them away for servicing. I'm not suggesting that the tire shops actually measure the wheels, but wouldn't some wheels have the bolt pattern printed/cast into them somewhere?
