id check the ohms to the items that are not working from the fuse box. you may have to just re wire the whole car to fix this. i hate to even say it.

Well everything in the car turns on as far as I know. I feel like there is some module that is blown that is causing all the other modules to not be able to communicate with the PCM. Do you know of a place that I could find diagrams for my car? I found some for a 2002 but those diagrams reference a bunch of fuses I do not have.

I don't want to discourage you from fixing the car if you are 100% sure already, but you might want to consider taking your cash from having the car totaled and buy another similar Grand Prix. You could very possibly be chasing electrical gremlins until you lose your sanity.

Alright guys I've got some huge updates. A week ago I picked up an Airbag Sensor as it was the last thing that connects to the data link communications that hadn't been replaced yet. I plugged that in and unplugged the climate control module. My original driver information center still didn't work so I tried another one and it worked!! So then i check my climate control module, it was throwing a code and made the driver information center inoperable. I then put in another climate control module and everything seemed to be working after 6 months of dealing with this! So I have ABS, TCS, and all interior gadgets are working.

After doing all this though it has taken out my cruise control and the computer is throwing P1571 DTC. I'm assuming that DTC is why my cruise control stopped working. Any suggestions? I'm guessing my ebcm also needs replacing as I have tried replacing the cruise control module.

the car that i know of that got nailed by lighting got the back tire blown out, so the wheel was on the ground. the bolt was a easy 4 foot round. the inside of the car was full of smoke. nothing worked at all. 100% dead.

this bolt hit like 5 feet from me on the other side of the front door, it rode the railing to the drive way, blew the step out, what blew the back tire out on the car, crossed the car, then stripped the bark off a huge ass tree, a good 100 foot up. the house also took the hit. everything plugged in died.

After restoring function to the DIC and Climate Control Module my cruise control stopped working.
I am getting P1571 DTC but even after disconnecting the EBCM cruise control is still inoperable. I have tried a different cruise control module.

    Any suggestions?
