    Hi all,

    I am thinking about buying a 2007 grand prix GXP. Is there anything I need to really lookout for. I know the transmission's are sometimes an issue but is there anything eles?

    Main problem area is the transmission. Besides that nothing major. Just check for rust etc. check for play in the steering snd you should be good to go.

    The first thing to look for before buying a GP is the nearest Ford dealer

    I'm in the market for one too, and yeah the transmission. The ones with around 100K have replaced trans or transmission service in the CarFax. I was browsing around and saw alot of people complain about the transmission taking a crap on them

    ^^^And if it hasn't taken a dump. It will eventually. If you do buy a GXP, buy one that has a nice power train warranty(Mine did. I used it), or has had the tranny replaced already. Research will get you everywhere when buying a car.
    OverKilled, HAI, Ported Throttle body, Ported intake, ZZP DP, Magnaflow, BMR ta's, GMPP STB's, CCS springs, tinted tailights, roof rails, TEP cool'r, G8 hood. Glass Gearbox.

    I havent heard the LS4's taking a crap on the cars either, try to get one with some reasonable miles and maintenance records
